MHT-CET

MHT-CET is an entrance exam conducted by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Mumbai to facilitate admissions for various courses in universities and colleges across Maharashtra. The popular courses for which students apply are BE/B.Tech, B. Pharma/Pharma, B. Sc. (Honours) (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Honours) (Horticulture)/B.Sc. (Honours) (Forestry)/B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering)/B.Tech. (Food Technology)/B.Sc. (Honours) (Community Science)/B. Tech. (Bio-Technology)/B.F.Sc. (Fisheries)/ B.Sc. (Honours) (Animal Husbandry).

MHT-CET Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination is eligible to register for the exam.
  • The candidate must be an Indian by nationality.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in MHT-CET 2018.

  • Difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET.

  • For the candidate seeking admission to Engineering and Technology degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
  • For the candidate seeking admission in Pharmacy/Pharm. D degree course, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper-I and/or Paper-III.
  • For the candidate seeking admission in first year B.Sc. (Honours) (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Community Science) / B. Tech. (Bio Technology) degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper I and/or Paper III.
  • For the candidate seeking admission in first year B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) / B.Tech.(Food Technology) degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
  • For the candidate seeking admission in first year B.Sc.(Honours) (Forestry) degree course, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for both Paper II and Paper III.
